Block the UV Burn's mission is to raise awareness about the dangers of UV exposure, fund and provide essential sun protection resources such as sunscreen, sunglasses, and hats, and support individuals affected by skin cancer.
UV exposure is one of the leading causes of skin cancer, and Florida has some of the highest rates in the country. Many people do not have access to proper sun protection or are not aware of the risks, which makes education and prevention critical.
Block the UV Burn was founded and created by Lucas Landau, a high school student in Boca Raton, Florida, with a passion for raising awareness about UV exposure and helping others stay protected from the sun.
